L’Oréal USA Reorganizes Luxe Division, Promotes Doreen Arbel, Ikdeep Singh, Ed Fox

L’Oréal USA is breaking out YSL Beauté, Giorgio Armani Beauty and Designer Fragrances into their own business units within the company’s Luxe group, and has appointed new heads to each business. “To ensure that we continue to propel the growth of Giorgio Armani Beauty, YSL Beauté, Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Viktor & Rolf and Maison Margiela fragrances as well as the recent additions of Atelier Cologne and Valentino Beauty, we are restructuring the group of teams to focus on their individual brands, simplify our organization and grow our brands,” said L’Oréal Luxe president Xavier Vey in a statement. Following the restructuring, International Designer Collections, which had housed the businesses, is no longer a business unit. Doreen Arbel has been promoted to general manager of YSL Beauté in the U.S.; Ikdeep Singh has been appointed president of Giorgio Armani Beauty, and Ed Fox has been promoted to general manager of Designer Fragrances. They all report to Vey. The appointments come shortly after Alexandre Choueiri, who was president of IDC, was promoted to be global president of Ralph Lauren Fragrances.
