The shimmer eyeshadows are more consistent in pigmentation with the majority of shades having opaque color coverage. The more metallic/sparkly the shade is, the creamier and more emollient the eyeshadow felt in the pan, which often yielded really smooth application and good adherence to the lid, though a few worked better with a fingertip or a dampened brush for true-to-pan color or to get a truer finish/sheen. Most shades, however, worked well with brushes, and I didn't have trouble applying or blending out most of the shimmer shades. The more satin to pearl like finishes tend to feel a little thinner but blend out well. These shades wore between eight and nine hours on me with some of the more foiled-like shades creasing noticeably at the end (and the less foiled-like ones fading).

Sydney Grace Seize the Day Pressed Pigment Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a rich, medium yellow with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It was intensely pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was dense enough to help all of the shimmer and micro-sparkles bind together but wasn’t too thick on my lid. The eyeshadow applied well without a primer and blended out easily along the edges. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading slightly.

Sydney Grace Take the Time Pressed Pigment Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium, grass green with warm, yellow undertones and a shiny, metallic finish. The color payoff was opaque in a single pass, which adhered well to bare skin and diffused easily along the edges. The texture was lightly creamy, smooth, and dense without being too thick or too firmly pressed in the pan. There was faint, visible creasing on my lid after eight and a half hours of wear.

Sydney Grace Meadow Pressed Pigment Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light-medium lime green with soft, warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. There were barely-there shimmers strewn throughout that I could see in the close-up photos but not in person. The consistency was soft, velvety, and substantial enough to yield opaque color payoff on bare skin that didn’t sheer out immediately. This shade lasted well for eight hours on me before I noticed any fading.

The matte eyeshadows tend to be pigmented (typically semi-opaque or opaque, often buildable if they aren't opaque) with a soft, more velvety texture that has slight slip but isn't so thick that it gets difficult to use, applies unevenly, or has a lot of fallout. I've found that most of the matte eyeshadows apply and blend out without much effort but a few may take a bit more effort to diffuse along the edges. The matte formula tends to wear between eight and eight and a half hours on me.

Sydney Grace Keep It Fun Matte Shadow ($5.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a muted, medium aqua-green with subtle, cool undertones and a metallic finish. It was richly pigmented with a lightly creamy, dense consistency that wasn’t too thick nor too firmly-pressed in the pan. The color picked up well with a brush, applied evenly and blended out seamlessly. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours on me before creasing a touch.

Sydney Grace Poolside Matte Shadow ($5.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a muted, light-medium blue-leaning teal with subtle, cool undertones and faint micro-shimmer over a matte finish. Again, the shimmers were visible in the swatch and in the pan but not to my eye in person. The color payoff was opaque in one layer, while the texture was soft, smooth, and velvety–substantial without being too powdery–and blended out with ease. I noticed slight fading after eight hours of wear.
