Kylie Jenner Announces Skin-Care Brand on Instagram

Kylie Jenner has a second beauty brand in the works. The reality star turned beauty entrepreneur revealed Friday on Instagram the impending launch of Kylie Skin on May 22. Information on specific products will be teased on the skin-care brand’s Instagram account @kylieskin, though today’s post says the brand’s assortment will be cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, free of paraben and sulfates and “suitable for all skin types.” The post explains that Kylie Skin is an entirely separate entity from Kylie Cosmetics, Jenner’s makeup brand that shot to popularity for its hard-to-get lip kits. “Building my makeup line from the ground up has taught me a lot and I’m so blessed with that knowledge to apply to my brand new company! Birthing a whole new team, manufacturing fulfillment etc [sic] separate from my cosmetics line was challenging but we got here!” read Jenner’s Instagram post on Friday afternoon. Jenner’s team gave no further comment when reached by WWD. This is the second time in a week Jenner’s business has made headlines.
