NARS Grafton Street High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner ($24.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a deep green with cool undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which easily built up to full coverage with a touch more product layered on top. The texture was smooth, lightly creamy without being slippery or too wet, and it glided evenly over my lower lash line and water line. The color stayed on well for 10 hours on my lower lash line and eight hours on my lower water line before migrating toward the outer corner.

Formula Overview

$24.00/0.03 oz. - $800.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have "12-hour wear' that is "humidity-proof," "sweat-proof, "water-resistant, and "transfer-resistant" paired with "high pigment." The texture definitely felt a bit gel-like, as intended, as the product glided across my skin without tugging or dragging, and the pigmentation seemed a bit inkier and richer. They're creamier--but not too creamy--than previous iterations of the formula, and they wore significantly better than most of NARS' pencils have for me.

Some shades lasted longer than others, but most shades were semi-opaque to opaque in pigmentation, comfortable to apply, went on evenly, and were easy to use. Most lasted for eight to ten hours on my lower lash line with wear on my water line being six to eight hours in most instances. They didn't fade/thin on me cleanly; they did migrate to the outer corner (occasionally the inner corner), though.

NARS Night Porter High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner ($24.00 for 0.03 oz.) has a blackened base with flecks of brighter, cooler emerald green and faint blue-teal shimmer and larger sparkle. The texture felt smooth as it glided across my skin, though it appeared more uneven due to the larger shimmer/sparkle particles in it. It had enough slip that it didn’t tug during application, but it didn’t seem so creamy that it took too long to set. The pigmentation was semi-opaque and fairly buildable to full coverage in two passes. It wore well for eight and a half hours on my lower lash line before I noticed some migration.

NARS Ocean Drive High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner ($24.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a bright, cobalt blue with cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in one layer, which adhered evenly and smoothly to my skin without tugging or skipping. The texture was creamy, smooth, and easy to maneuver along my lower lash line and water line. It had vibrant color that really popped when applied, but it seemed faster to migrate toward my outer corners as there was a bit of blue where I didn’t put it after seven hours of wear (similar wear times on lower lash line and lower water line).

NARS Park Avenue High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner ($24.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a deep blue that bordered on purple with a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that was buildable, though I had trouble applying this one evenly on its own. In order to soften and smooth out the product, I used a small, detail brush to smudge it along my lower lash line. The texture was smooth, creamy, and it was comfortable to apply on my lower lash line and water line. This shade showed signs of migration after eight hours of wear on my lower lash line and was noticeably faded on my lower water line after six hours.
