MAC Cosmetics Appoints New Senior Executive

MAC Cosmetics has a new senior executive. The company announced today that it has appointed James Aquilina as senior vice president and general manager for international and global commercial, a role previously held by Mary Renaud, who retired in August after 35 years with MAC. Aquilina has spent 13 years of his career with The Estée Lauder Companies. He was previously vice president and general manager of international at Tom Ford Beauty. Prior to that role, he led travel retail worldwide at The Estée Lauder Companies, managing a total of eight brands. Before moving to New York, Aquilina worked in London as the regional director of travel retail for Europe, Middle East and Africa at The Estée Lauder Companies. In his new role at MAC, he will be tasked with driving global growth and leading the development of an integrated global omnichannel strategy.
