Stéphane Rinderknech Succeeds Frédéric Rozé as President and CEO of L’Oréal USA

Stéphane Rinderknech has been appointed president and chief executive officer of L’Oréal USA, succeeding Frédéric Rozé, who has been in the position since 2009. Rozé will become executive vice president, Americas. Rinderknech, who will report to Rozé in the new role, joined L’Oréal as part of the travel retail business in the U.S. in 2001. He was appointed general manager for Lancôme in Japan in 2005, and later moved to be general manager for Luxury in Korea. After that, he became head of L’Oréal China’s Luxury Division and then the company’s Consumer Products Division, before being appointed chief executive officer of L’Oréal China in 2016. He will start the new role on Oct. 1.
