Lipsticks Under $15 | 2019 Editor’s Favorites
How many lipsticks did you wear this year? I might have donned some 750+ lipsticks (across all types, pencil, liquid, traditional) over the last year! Lipstick is the most competitive category; it’s the one that I feel like I’ll never, ever cover well because there are so many formulas that exist–new and long existing–with tons of shades.
This year, I reviewed more of Revlon’s long-standing Super Lustrous range (and plenty more to come in 2020, I imagine). There was also new shades in the Sephora #Lipstories range along with the release of their Rouge Lacquer, which is a nice option for anyone who loves super glossy, opaque color. One of my favorite new formulas was definitely ColourPop’s Just a Tint pencils!
If you’re unfamiliar with how I like to do my year-end favorites, here’s the low down: I pull from the products I reviewed in 2019, regardless of whether they were new, limited edition, or an established range I’ve only just gotten around to reviewing. These are personal favorites, so they may or may not be the highest rated products reviewed during the year (though they will tend to be better rated, naturally!).
