Pat McGrath Bronze Seductress OpuLUST Lip Gloss ($30.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a rich, deeper copper with strong, warm undertones and flecks of gold, copper, and pink sparkle and shimmer throughout. It had semi-opaque coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips with good dispersion of the shimmer.
The consistency was lightweight, smooth, and like a plush cream-gel hybrid, as it felt substantial and cushion-like but wasn’t too thick nor was it tacky; it was thick enough that I didn’t feel any of the shimmer/sparkle when I pressed my lips together. It wore nicely for five hours and was hydrating over time.

The formula is supposed to "seamlessly glide" onto lips with "multidimensional sparkle with a smooth, non-sticky finish" that has a "shimmering, move-resistant glasslike finish" and "otherworldly opacity." The pigmentation varied from semi-sheer to mostly opaque depending on the shade, and "otherworldly opacity" combined with the brand's promotional images and swatches all points in the direction of "pigmented'," and I think there are at least a couple of shades that were designed as sheerer on purpose but lack any description suggesting they were different than other shades in the range.
The texture was smooth, mostly non-sticky, and comfortable to wear with a plush, cream-gel feel, so it was more substantial but not heavy to wear at all. Each shade packed a very high-shine, ultra-metallic look that never felt gritty or textured from all of the included sparkle/shimmer. I had very light to subtle settling into my lip lines with a few shades, though not enough to be noticeable in person. They wore between four and five hours on average, and the formula was hydrating to wear. I didn't find that there was much in the way of shimmer/sparkle migration over time (beyond my lips). The formula had a sweet, creme brulee scent to me but no discernible taste.

Pat McGrath Naked Rose OpuLUST Lip Gloss ($30.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark pink with strong, warm undertones and flecks of pink, gold, and peach shimmer and sparkle throughout that gave it a high-shine, metallic finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips with an even distribution of shimmer/sparkle as well.
The gloss had a smooth, non-sticky consistency that wasn’t too thick or too thin, though definitely lighter-weight, so it was comfortable to wear and the texture of all the shimmer didn’t come through. There was a smidgen of product that sank into my deeper lip lines, though it wasn’t noticeable in person. This shade stayed on well for four and a half hours and was moisturizing while worn.
