Urban Decay Fool’s Gold Moondust Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a medium-dark gold with strong, warm undertones and flecks of gold and copper sparkle throughout. It had sheer coverage applied dry, semi-sheer coverage applied with fingertip, and semi-opaque coverage applied with a dampened brush.

The texture was smooth, lightly emollient, and thin without being stiff or difficult to work with. It sat smoothly on my skin and blended out nicely without having fallout. It worked better as a lid shade as the darker, copper flecks of sparkle could sometimes give a patchy appearance when diffused (at least, against my skin tone). It wore well for eight hours with a smidgen of fallout over time.

Urban Decay Starlight Moondust Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy orange with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling, high-shine finish with bluish tint. The texture felt smooth, lightly emollient but thin and not actually wet to the touch, so it was easy to pick up with a brush.

The eyeshadow had medium coverage applied with a dry brush and opaque coverage applied applied with a fingertip or a dampened brush. The wet application yielded a slightly more metallic, more sparkling finish. This shade stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours with a touch of fallout over time.
