Charlotte Tilbury Copper Charge Eyeshadow Quad ($53.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a new, limited edition quad that features three shimmery shades and one matte shade. Three of the four shades performed well; they were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing, but the third shade (which is a Pop shade) was drier and needed to be applied with a dampened brush or a fingertip for better coverage and to minimize fallout.

Copper Charge #1 is a medium gold with strong, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The consistency was smooth, almost creamy, with a finely-milled, slightly dense feel. It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with ease. It wore well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Copper Charge #2

Copper Charge #2 is a medium-dark, coppery brown with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy consistency that was dense without being too firmly pressed into the pan nor too thick when applied to the lid. The eyeshadow applied well to bare skin and blended out nicely along the edges. This shade stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

Copper Charge #3 is a light-medium, peachy copper with moderate,w arm undertones and a sparkling finish. The texture felt drier than past Pop shades, and while it wasn’t more than medium coverage applied dry, it was workable applied with a dampened brush (opaque coverage and less fallout). There was slight fading apparent after eight hours of wear along with light fallout.

Copper Charge #4 is a muted, medium-dark copper-brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had a soft, velvety texture that was a smidgen powdery in the pan but had excellent adhesion to bare skin while retaining its blendability. It had rich pigmentation that applied evenly and lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.
