Natasha Denona Bloom Highlighter Blush (Mini) ($19.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark pink-coral with soft, warm undertones and a stronger, golden sheen that gave it a luminous finish. It looked almost dewy after it was applied and blended out on my skin, but it didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture.

Per the brand, it was supposed to be buildable–demonstrated as almost opaque when applied with a fingertip and more buildable when applied with a brush–and I’d consider it more medium to semi-opaque in one layer with a typical, moderately-dense blush brush, which is definitely more pigment than a “sheer, translucent hint of color” the brand wrote in their description! With a lighter hand, one could achieve semi-sheer coverage (which is true of a lot of more pigmented products, though).

The product’s texture was firmer, dense, and smooth to the touch without any powderiness, so it was easy to use a lighter hand with it but one does need a moderately-dense (or flatter) brush to pick up product. I didn’t have any trouble applying and blending out the color on my skin. It stayed on well for nine hours before fading noticeably on me. The only “downside” was it was more pigmented than described, which might be a pro more than it is a con for some buyers.
