Tom Ford Beauty Impassioned Clutch-Size Lip Color Metallic ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a medium-dark red with moderate, warm undertones and fine, red pearl throughout. It had semi-opaque color coverage in a single layer, which built up slightly but was hard to get full coverage out of.

The texture was smooth, emollient while being thinner and lightweight in feel (but not clingy), so it glided easily across my lips and delivered even coverage. The product didn’t get into my lip lines, and it didn’t seem to exacerbate imperfections. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

The formula is supposed to have an "ultra-creamy texture" and "pure color" with a "balance of luminosity." The
coverage ranged from semi-opaque to nearly opaque with most shades applying well with even, flattering coverage.

The wear was anywhere from three hours to five hours. In general, the formula has a creamy texture that's easy to work with, comfortable to wear, and was lightly to moderately hydrating. They have a vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Tom Ford Beauty Scarlet Rouge Clutch-Size Lip Color Metallic ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a medium, orange-red with warm undertones and flecks of gold and pink sparkle along with finer, red pearl throughout. The consistency was smooth–none of the shimmer/sparkle particles came through–and glided easily across my lips for even, semi-opaque coverage in a single layer.

I was able to build up the color a little bit, but the thinner texture made it hard to achieve full coverage. It wore well for five hours and felt lightly moisturizing while worn.
