Kosas Longitude Zero Color & Light Pressed Palette Review & Swatches
Longitude Zero
Kosas Longitude Zero Color and Light Pressed Palette ($34.00 for 0.28 oz.) is the lower intensity version which is supposed to have more buildable coverage, though both shades were more semi-opaque to opaque; the more powdery texture makes it easier to pick up less product with a lighter hand if truly buildable coverage is desired. The duo featured a medium-dark pink blush paired with a light pink highlighter. The products applied well to bare skin, blended out nicely, and wore for eight to eight and a half hours.

Longitude Zero (Blush)
Longitude Zero (Blush) is a medium pink with muted, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It was actually quite pigmented, rather than buildable as marketed, and the only way to build it up was to use a very light hand (which is true of most pigmented products!).
The texture was soft, smooth, and finely-milled with a bit of dryness in the pan, but it applied so well–it blended out beautifully, but the way the powder sat on my skin was smoothing with a more natural-matte finish. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
-
The formula offers two levels of intensity--a standard level and a "High Intensity" version--that allows the customer to pick the level of pigmentation and depth desired. The standard intensity offers "buildable, blendable" blush and highlighter that is "easy-to-apply," while the "High Intensity" offers "double color payoff."
The texture of the blush seemed drier, more powdery, but I was surprised--and impressed!--by how beautifully the powders applied, blended, and sat on my skin. They went on with almost no effort at all with an even lay down of color that diffused easily along the edges, didn't look flat or dry on, and were fairly true-to-color.
The pigmentation of the standard intensity level was more medium to semi-opaque, buildable coverage, while the pigmentation of the High Intensity versions were nearly opaque to opaque and were a bit darker/deeper in tone overall. The majority of the shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

Longitude Zero (Highlighter)
Longitude Zero (Highlighter) is a light pink with strong, warm undertones and soft shimmer throughout. It had more distinct shimmer, so larger in particle size, compared to most highlighters in the range. The consistency was moderately powdery, so there was excess kicked up in the pan, but thankfully, it didn’t look dry or dusty when applied to bare skin (or over foundation).
It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage, so it was a bit more pigmented than anticipated. The product applied evenly to my skin, blended out with little effort, and lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.
