Clionadh Cosmetics Luminaire, Glow, Umbra Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches
Luminaire
Clionadh Luminaire Iridescent Glitter Multichrome Eyeshadow ($7.75 for 0.05 oz.) has a transparent base with a multichrome finish that shifted from warmer, darker pink to lighter pink to gold. Per the brand, it shifts from “red-orange-gold.” The transparent base often looked like a pale, bluish tone on me at certain angles, and it didn’t seem as transparent compared to other shades in the line. Otherwise, I was definitely able to see the shift between a deeper pink to a softer pink to a brighter, lighter gold.
It had a very smooth, lightly emollient texture that was dense and substantial without being too firmly pressed into the pan that it became stiff to work with or thick when applied to bare skin. The eyeshadow applied evenly with a dry brush (though a fingertip or a wet brush could certainly be used) with good adhesion. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview
$7.75/0.05 oz. - $155.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "nearly transparent base" so they can be used on all skin tones (despite appearing white in the pan), and they "can be used on eyes, lips, face and body." While other Multichromes may require more specific application or technique, the brand says that this formula can be used "the same way you would" apply any "highlight or shadow."
The consistency has a denser, smoother feel that wasn't too firm, so I had no trouble picking up product with eyeshadow or highlighter brushes (without having to wet the brush). The product applied evenly, had semi-opaque to opaque, buildable coverage, and was blendable. Some of the shades with larger shimmer/sparkle had light fallout during application. They wore between eight and nine hours on me before fading a bit.
I found that the shift wasn't as dramatic between the three described color shifts per shade (some more so than others), but they did have a dramatic shift between at least two shades.
I tried a few shades as cheek highlighters, and they applied well on cheeks and diffused readily along the edges without emphasizing my skin's natural texture. They wore between eight and nine hours as cheek highlighters as well.

Glow
Clionadh Glow Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadow ($7.75 for 0.05 oz.) has a transparent base with a sparkling, multi-chrome finish that shifted from warmer lavender to cooler violet to blue to aqua. It had a very shiny, twinkling finish that was very brightening when applied to the skin. Per the brand, it shifts from “turquoise-blue-violet,” which I definitely saw readily while wearing this shade.
It had good color coverage in a single layer and often appeared opaque in person with a bit of translucency (from its transparent base) detectable in a close-up swatch. The consistency felt more emollient but was more loosely-pressed compared to the less sparkly shades in the same formula.
The brand specifically notes to apply this finish with fingertips or a wet brush, but it was totally workable with a dry brush if one doesn’t mind light fallout. I’d recommend using a lighter hand or a slightly firmer brush to minimize fallout during application; alternatively, a fingertip works well with this particular shade for all-over-the-lid, application. The color stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading visibly, and there was a touch of fallout over time.

While other Multichromes may require more specific application or technique, the brand says that this formula can be used "the same way you would" apply any "highlight or shadow."
The "Glitter" finish (which isn't actual, plastic PET glitter!) is more loosely-pressed in the pan, so they need to be used with a lighter hand. They can also have some fallout when used with a dry brush, which is why the brand specified to apply with a fingertip or a wet brush, though I definitely found them very usable with a dry brush (with minor clean-up of fallout required). They wore between eight and nine hours on me before fading a bit.

Umbra
Clionadh Umbra Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadow ($7.75 for 0.05 oz.) has a transparent base with a multichrome finish using fine pearl that shifted from blue to purple to cooler and warmer lavender. It had a finer pearl that gave it a very smooth sheen paired with nearly opaque coverage. Per the brand, it shifts from “blue-indigo-violet-pink.”
I was able to see the shift in person without contorting myself to do so; the shift went from brighter, cooler blue to warmer lavender and made the stops in-between–purplish-blue, cooler lavender–depending on the angle and the lighting conditions (brighter light made the blue pop more, lower light made it appear more lavender more readily).
The texture was very smooth, lightly emollient without being too dense or too firmly pressed into the pan, so it picked up well with a dry brush (as well as fingertips or a dampened brush) and had good adhesion to bare skin. It was easy to work with and blend out over a larger area for an all-over wash of product, too. It wore nicely for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.
