Lethal Cosmetics Hive Collection Reviews & Swatches (Part 1 of 2)
Nymph
Lethal Cosmetics Nymph Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a bright, golden beige with moderate, warm undertones and an intense, metallic finish. It had a smooth, lightly creamy texture that wasn’t too firmly nor too softly pressed into the pan that yielded full coverage in a single layer. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$6.00/0.06 oz. - $100.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "extreme pigmentation" and "effortless blendability" ... "that [will] last all day." There are two primary finishes: mattes and metallics, and the latter can also be used wet.
The matte finish has semi-opaque to opaque color coverage with moderate powderiness; it's a formula that is best used with a lighter hand. There was light fallout with some shades, though not at all, and they were blendable for the most part. Even with a light hand, there was still a bit of powderiness present--the brand did warn about using less with their formula--in the pan.
There were a few darker shades that had a tendency to sheer out when applied or did not apply as evenly, especially when layered over a lighter shade but most of the mid-tone and lighter shades were easy to apply and blend out. As a result, I found myself having better results by going dark to light rather than light to dark (which is more in line with how I typically work).
The metallic finish ranged from creamier, denser, and a bit thicker to softer, dense but still a little powdery (usually the lighter, more white-based shades). They were mostly opaque to fully opaque in a single layer, so they didn't need to be applied with a wet brush to achieve coverage or adhesion. I found that some of the more powdery, shimmery shades were more flattering on the lid when used with a fingertip or a dampened brush, though.
The matte eyeshadows tended to wear around eight hours on me before fading, while the shimmer shades lasted eight to eight and a half hours on me.

Ephemeral
Lethal Cosmetics Ephemeral Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a darker, yellowy beige with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation but was more powdery, so it sheered out a bit when applied.
I’d recommend using a primer underneath it if building up coverage was desired, though the eyeshadow blended out well and had more of a dispersion of product into the air than visible fallout underneath my eye area. It lasted decently for seven and a half hours on me.

Cycle
Lethal Cosmetics Cycle Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a brighter, light orange with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had a soft, lightly powdery texture that was silky-smooth and very finely-milled, so while it kicked up excess in the pan, it didn’t seem to result in fallout (just diffused into the air–I could see a bit of dust in the air as I initially placed it). It had opaque coverage that wore nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

Equilibrium
Lethal Cosmetics Equilibrium Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium-dark blue with subtle, cool undertones and a smooth, metallic sheen. It was almost a “warm” blue.
The texture was moderately dense, slightly firmer but not too thick, so it picked up well with a dry brush and had good adhesion when pressed and patted into place. It had full pigmentation in a single layer, which stayed on well for eight hours before showing signs of wear.

Imago
Lethal Cosmetics Imago Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium, rosy plum with warmer undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had good color coverage that was buildable to full coverage with a second layer, but there was light fallout as I built it up.
The consistency was soft, velvety but moderately powdery and was best used with a lighter hand and a denser brush (which made it easier to control where it was applied). I’d also suggest blending it a bit less as I noticed it was prone to sheering out if over-blended. The color lasted well for seven and a half hours before fading.

Lethal Cosmetics Symbiosis Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a bright, golden copper with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It was intensely pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy and moderately dense texture that was easy to work with.
I had no trouble picking up product with a dry brush nor applying it and blending it out on bare skin. The eyeshadow wore nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.
