Catatonic

Lethal Cosmetics Catatonic Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light-medium, caramel brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had an incredibly soft, silky-smooth texture but had some powderiness to it, so you’ll want to use a lighter touch to avoid fallout or getting too much excess product kicked up in the pan.

It had opaque color coverage that blended out well along the edges. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview

$6.00/0.06 oz. - $100.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have "extreme pigmentation" and "effortless blendability" ... "that [will] last all day." There are two primary finishes: mattes and metallics, and the latter can also be used wet.

The matte finish has semi-opaque to opaque color coverage with moderate powderiness; it's a formula that is best used with a lighter hand. There was light fallout with some shades, though not at all, and they were blendable for the most part. Even with a light hand, there was still a bit of powderiness present--the brand did warn about using less with their formula--in the pan.

There were a few darker shades that had a tendency to sheer out when applied or did not apply as evenly, especially when layered over a lighter shade but most of the mid-tone and lighter shades were easy to apply and blend out. As a result, I found myself having better results by going dark to light rather than light to dark (which is more in line with how I typically work).

The metallic finish ranged from creamier, denser, and a bit thicker to softer, dense but still a little powdery (usually the lighter, more white-based shades). They were mostly opaque to fully opaque in a single layer, so they didn't need to be applied with a wet brush to achieve coverage or adhesion. I found that some of the more powdery, shimmery shades were more flattering on the lid when used with a fingertip or a dampened brush, though.

The matte eyeshadows tended to wear around eight hours on me before fading, while the shimmer shades lasted eight to eight and a half hours on me.

Delirium

Lethal Cosmetics Delirium Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had excellent color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly to my eye area and diffused well along the edges.

The texture was soft, silky, and finely-milled with some powderiness but didn’t seem prone to fallout nor sheering out too readily. This shade lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Defiance

Lethal Cosmetics Defiance Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a rich, coppery brown with strong, warm undertones and a metallic finish. The texture was smooth, lightly creamy, and dense without being too thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan, so it picked up well with a dry brush and had good adhesion to bare skin. The eyeshadow had opaque color coverage that wore well for eight hours before showing signs of wear.

Serene

Lethal Cosmetics Serene Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a pale, white gold with a warmer, golden sheen paired with a metallic finish. The texture was somewhat powdery and seemed drier, which was more prone to emphasizing my lid texture if I wasn’t careful to press and gently blend it out.

I’d recommend using a lighter hand or applying with a dampened brush; the latter helped to smooth it into place with little effort. This particular shade was actually described as “sheer,” but it was fairly pigmented. It stayed on decently for eight hours before fading a bit.

Euphoria

Lethal Cosmetics Euphoria Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a deep red with warmer undertones and a metallic sheen. The consistency felt more loosely-pressed compared to other shimmery shades in the range, which gave it a more emollient feel and also made it seem thinner (which helped it blend more easily with the mattes in the range).

It had rich pigmentation that adhered well to bare skin with a smooth, even lay down of product. The eyeshadow started to fade visibly after eight hours of wear.

Frantic

Lethal Cosmetics Frantic Pressed Powder Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium-dark, reddened burgundy with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation that was buildable to full coverage with a second layer.

The texture was moderately powdery with light fallout, and it seemed more sensitive to being pushed and lifted away when combined with the brand’s thicker metallics (like Spirit). It stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.
