Clionadh Royalty & Bloodline Vibrant Multichrome Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches
Royalty
Clionadh Royalty Vibrant Multichrome Eyeshadow ($12.50 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, lighter purple with cooler undertones in the base color paired with shimmer that shifted between aqua, gold-green, purple, and gold paired with a metallic finish. At certain angles, it read cooler and more violet and at others, it was warmer and with twinkling gold, green, and pink sparkle. Per the brand, it is supposed to shift between “pink-gold-green-turquoise-blue-purple.” The shift was subtler as the sparkle was quite intense and seemed multidimensional in its own right — on top of the actual shift.
It had nearly opaque coverage applied with a fingertip and fully opaque coverage when applied with a dampened brush. I didn’t struggle to use it with a dry brush, though, and I found I could achieve nearly opaque coverage by pressing and patting on the product, then diffusing and spreading the edges for a blended look. I was surprised that it wasn’t a one-way trip to Fallout City, as there was very minimal fallout during the application (as well as during wear).
The texture was soft, more loosely-pressed but dense enough to pick up easily with a brush and adhere to bare skin. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours with a touch of fallout over time.

Formula Overview
$12.50/0.05 oz. - $250.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have an "intense colour shifting reflect and colourful, saturated base" with more of a "small/medium particle" sparkle, and as a result, "behaves" similar to the brand's Glitter Multichromes.
For reference, the Glitter Multichromes have "varying levels of opacity" and sizes of sparkle (they do not contain plastic, or PET, glitter and are safe for eye-usage!). Per the brand, they recommend applying by patting it on with a fingertip or with a dampened brush along with using a tacky base ("glitter glue") for shades with larger particle sizes. They also warn to use a lighter hand with the formula and that there "may be some fallout while applying."
One of the nicer aspects of shopping indie brands is that they often provide more detailed information about how to apply their products and address potential short-comings, e.g. Clionadh mentions that there may be fallout during application, which is something rarely seen (generally).
The Vibrant Multichromes were very pigmented applied with a fingertip or with a dampened brush, though I had no trouble using a dry brush to pick up product and apply it, often getting semi-opaque to opaque coverage when I pressed/patted the shade into place--and I had minimal fallout.
For as sparkly and as softly-pressed as the formula was, I was actually surprised there wasn't more fallout. It was quite minimal to the degree that I didn't feel the need for clean-up--I just applied my foundation on top. You will want to use a lighter hand and do a more pressing motion, rather than swirling or jabbing motions, to pick up product.
The formula has a saturated base color along with contrasting shimmer/sparkle, and then there is a multichromatic shift. The shift wasn't as intense/noticeable as with the Jewelled Multichromes--which was as expected!--but I think that the Vibrant Multichromes can look more impressive because they really change at all angles between the moderate shift paired with the sparkle. They are extremely multidimensional shades, and because they don't have a more intense black base, they are very forgiving if you over-blend the edge/base.
They wore between eight and nine hours on me with minimal fading and fallout over time (tested over bare skin!).

Bloodline
Clionadh Bloodline Vibrant Multichrome Eyeshadow ($12.50 for 0.05 oz.) has a darker, rosy plum base with flecks of shimmer and micro-sparkle that shifted between violet, pink, blue, green, and gold. Often, the base appeared reddish-plum with multi-colored shimmer/sparkle, predominantly flashing gold, pink, and green-gold. Per the brand, it is supposed to shift between “gold-green-turquoise-blue-purple.”
The eyeshadow had a soft, more loosely-pressed consistently with moderate creaminess and some slip to it, which seemed to help the product adhere better, especially as the shimmer/sparkle seemed finer and flatter. I had no trouble applying the product with a dry brush and pressing the product onto my lid, though a fingertip or a dampened brush certainly worked well (both were the recommended application methods)–I just didn’t find it was actually necessary to achieve fantastic results.
It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly had very minimal fallout using a dry brush and no fallout when I used a fingertip/dampened brush to apply. The product spread and blended out with ease and incorporated well with other eyeshadows as it wasn’t thick or overly emollient. It wore well for eight hours before creasing slightly but didn’t seem to yield fallout over time.
