Kaja Butter Up Play Bento Sculpting Trio Kaja Butter Up Play Bento Sculpting Trio ($25.00 for oz.) includes a light-medium, peachy coral powder blush, iridescent peach powder highlighter, and light, warmer brown cream bronzer. The highlighter was sheerer compared to the blush and bronzer, though the brand didn’t have much in the way of claims (in any direction!) for the trio’s products. The blush could have been more blendable, but those who tend to apply over set or more matte bases should have less trouble.

Pink Cloud

Pink Cloud is a light-medium, peachy coral with stronger, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer–a little went a long way–with a soft, finely-milled consistency that felt a touch dry. I found it blended better over foundation or lightly powdered/set skin as it was more reactive to natural oils on bare skin. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

Twinkle Lights

Twinkle Lights is a very light, golden beige base with iridescent pink pearl throughout. It had medium color coverage, which was buildable to semi-opaque pigmentation, and the finish became more metallic with layering as well, though it didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. The powder felt soft, smooth, and firm–but not stiff–to the touch, so no powderiness while remaining blendable. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Homemade Waffle is a light brown with moderate, warm undertones and a soft sheen. It had opaque color coverage, which tended to apply more semi-opaque in practice. It could be applied with a lighter hand or diffused for a sheerer effect with ease. The consistency was smooth, balmy, and lightweight without being tacky or overly emollient, which helped it go on evenly and work well over bare skin as well as over foundation. It didn’t have a full dry down but only had a soft sheen–so not a very dewy finish at all. The color lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.
