Terra Moons Duochrome Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches (Part 2 of 3)
Half Moon
Terra Moons Half Moon Duochrome Eyeshadow ($8.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a very light bluish-aqua that shifted between green-gold with its sparkling, metallic shimmer. The texture was soft, smooth, and lightly emollient, which helped the product adhere well to my lid with minimal fallout.
It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single layer, which could be built up to full coverage but often looked opaque due to how reflective it was. This shade showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.05 oz. - $160.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "blendable" and "pigmented" with "a bit of kick up" when used due to being "pressed by hand." Some shades come with "additional information" such as being sheerer on the brand's website (for that particular shade) or to use a "glitter primer" due to the finish.
I found that some matte shades were more noticeably powdery than others, but whether there was just a little bit of powderiness or more noticeable powderiness really depended on a shade. The neon shades were the most powdery and hardest to work with on their own; some had more specific tips/guidance on how to work with them, which I felt was great for disclosure, but it could get hard to remember what shade needs to be applied in such and such fashion since it really did vary a lot shade by shade. The darker and less neon matte shades tended to perform the best for me--more pigmentation, better blendability, and were easier to work with and were more consistent.
Most shades--matte and more shimmery--were pigmented, easy to blend, and applied well to bare skin. They lasted between seven and eight hours with most closer to eight hours before fading (more of the mattes) or creasing (some of the more intense metallics).

Powdered Sugar
Terra Moons Powdered Sugar Duochrome Eyeshadow ($8.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a whitish base that shifted from pale pink to white gold to soft lavender paired with metallic sheen. It was a lot less sparkly and not nearly as textured as some of the other transparent or white-based duochrome shades.
It had nearly opaque color payoff that could be built up to full coverage if desired. The consistency was smooth, lightly emollient, and easy to work with. There was fading after eight hours of wear.

Snow Globe
Terra Moons Snow Globe Duochrome Eyeshadow ($8.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a transparent base chocked full of sparkle that shifted between pale gold and warmer, greenish-gold that looked a little pinkish around the edges at certain angles.
The texture felt lightly emollient, thin but not in a bad way, so it had better application (less fallout) than one might have expected, though using a dampened brush or an adhesive base would be ideal. It had semi-opaque color coverage–and the brand noted it was “slightly sheer”–that stayed on well for eight hours with light fallout over time.

Atlas
Terra Moons Atlas Duochrome Eyeshadow ($8.00 for 0.05 oz.) had more of a transparent base with tons of sparkle and shimmer that shifted from pale aqua to greenish-chartreuse paired with a sparkling, metallic finish. The texture was more softly-pressed in the pan, so you’ll want to use a lighter hand when picking up product and then press it onto the lid.
Alternatively, I’d say to use a dampened brush or fingertip for best application–more even coverage and the least fallout. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that lasted well for eight hours on me.

Terra Borealis
Terra Moons Terra Borealis Duochrome Eyeshadow ($8.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a rich, reddish-copper base with blue-to-teal shifting sparkle. It was incredibly reflective with an intense, metallic finish that was best applied with a fingertip or a dampened brush for smoothest application. I found using it dry sometimes emphasized my lid texture a bit.
The consistency was soft, smooth, and a little loosely-pressed, so I’d recommend using a lighter hand when picking it up initially. It wore well for eight hours before creasing noticeably.

Terra Moons Hot Spiced Cider Duochrome Eyeshadow ($8.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a medium, reddish-brown base paired with shimmer that shifted between copper and green. It had rich color payoff in a single pass, which adhered evenly and smoothly to bare skin. The texture felt lightly creamy, moderately dense but soft enough to be used with a dry brush without issue. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.
