ColourPop Talker Blotted Lip (2021) ($8.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a muted, dusty coral with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency felt smooth, velvety, and lightweight with a thin consistency that was just the right side of thin (aka not clingy yet). It had sheer pigmentation in one layer, which was buildable to semi-sheer coverage if desired. While I didn’t find the formula to be softening of lip lines, it didn’t emphasize them either. This shade lasted for two and a half hours and felt non-drying over time.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to deliver "sheer payout" but "can build up to medium coverage." It features a "blurred-focus matte finish" that is "non-drying." They are a sheer, matte tinted lip balm that feels almost weightless, not clingy and has a matte finish from the get-go. I didn't find they were buildable, and they were non-drying, but they lasted between two and three hours on my lips. They are fairly transfer-resistant, as I didn't notice any lip prints on my glass during drinking.
They have sheer to semi-sheer coverage with only a couple of the deeper/richer hues (like red/berry kind of colors) delivering more buildable coverage. A lot of the shades ran together over my natural lip color, which is lighter and more neutral (not particularly pink), so anyone with more noticeable pigment in their lips may see even less of difference between the lighter and more mid-tone shades.
The consistency was smooth, almost silky, despite being a slightly firmer and denser formula (no typical creaminess), and they glided across my lips comfortably. I was most impressed by how they did not seem to catch on texture/imperfections, even with the lighter shades.
They have a sweet, fruity scent (read cherry punch to my nose) but no discernible taste. I don't notice the scent much after five minutes of it being on, but it was strong in the tube.

ColourPop Shook Blotted Lip (2021) ($8.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium, raspberry pink with cooler undertones and a matte finish. It had sheer color payoff initially, which was buildable to semi-sheer pigmentation. The texture was lightweight and thin, though it did not seem to cling to imperfections. The product felt firmer in the tube but had enough of a velvety glide to apply comfortably and without tugging. It stayed on well for four hours and felt neither drying nor hydrating.
