Too Faced Teams With Drybar for 20th Anniversary
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Too Faced’s co-founder and chief creative officer Jerrod Blandino sought out his friend Alli Webb, founder of Drybar, for a collaboration that celebrates both brands. “It’s a love letter of friendship,” Blandino said about the collaboration, which is a glitter infused hairspray called Glitter Spritzer. “We’re coming together as two founders to celebrate [Too Faced’s] 20th birthday and we’re celebrating each other.” While Too Faced has partnered with many brands and influencers in the past, like the recent collaborations with Kat Von D and Kandee Johnson, Drybar hasn’t collaborated with any brands in its four years in business. Blandino and Webb have been friends for a long time and had always talked about joining efforts for a fun collaboration, so Too Faced’s 20th anniversary seemed like a perfect time for the hair-care brand to embark on its first partnership. “I love glitter in any shape or form,” Webb said. “We were excited to make a product that was equivalent in the hair space to what [Too Faced] does in the makeup space.
